Emergency Service Charges

Due to the immediate nature of emergency restoration services, certain charges may be non-refundable once work has begun, including but not limited to:

  • Equipment setup and usage

  • Mitigation servicesLabor already performed

  • Materials already used or ordered

Once emergency services are initiated, costs associated with completed work are generally non-refundable.

Deposits & Scheduled Services

Some projects may require deposits before scheduling work, ordering materials, or reserving equipment.

Deposit Refund Eligibility

Deposits may be refundable under the following conditions:

  • Cancellation occurs before materials are ordered

  • Work has not started

  • Equipment has not been reserved or deployed

 

Refund eligibility will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellations

Customers requesting cancellation of scheduled services should notify Floodgates Restoration as soon as possible.

Cancellation fees may apply if:

  • Technicians have already been dispatched

  • Emergency crews are en route

  • Materials have been purchased

  • Equipment has been delivered or reserved

Insurance Claims & Payments

If services are related to an insurance claim:

  • Customers remain responsible for unpaid balances not covered by insurance

  • Insurance claim denial does not automatically qualify for a refund

  • Deductibles and non-covered services remain the customer’s responsibility

 

Floodgates Restoration does not guarantee insurance reimbursement or claim approval.

Billing Disputes

If you believe there is a billing error or concern regarding services performed, please contact us promptly.

 

We encourage customers to contact us directly so we can review and address concerns in a fair and timely manner.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds, when applicable, may take several business days to process depending on the payment method and financial institution.
